Lesson Complete
Houston, Texas · For school owners

Music school software built in Houston, with someone who shows up.

Lesson Complete is music school management software built in Houston, Texas — scheduling, tuition and billing, parent and teacher apps, and an AI assistant in one place — and Houston-area schools get their onboarding in person. The founder lives here, so the demo happens at your school, the migration off your current system happens with him sitting next to you, and he’s on-site the week you cut over. Pricing is $0.49 per active student a month, capped at $195 per location, with no per-teacher fees and no markup on card processing. Every national competitor can sell you the software; none of them can drive to your studio in Sugar Land on a Tuesday.

Month-to-month · No setup fee · Free white-glove migration through 2026

Why local matters

What a Houston school gets that a remote vendor can’t offer

Every platform in this category supports you by email and screen share. Here’s the part that only works because the person who built this lives here.

A demo at your school, not a screen share

I’ll drive to your studio and walk your staff through it on your own desk, with your own programs and your own tuition on the screen. Twenty minutes if that’s all you have.

I sit with you for setup and migration

Your teachers, families, schedules, and billing plans get moved over and set up to match how you already run — by me, not by a help doc you work through at 11pm.

On-site for cutover week

For Houston-area schools I’m there the week you go live, so your first day of lessons and your first tuition run on the new system have a human in the building.

You call me, not a ticket queue

You get my email and my cell. I’m the founder, I built it, and I’m about 20 minutes away — so “can you just come look at this?” is a real option.

In-person setup, on-site cutover week, and drop-by support are offered to schools in the Houston metro. Everything else on this page is the same for every school, everywhere.

How a Houston onboarding goes

Four steps. I do the first three.

Built so you can move before your fall term without betting your enrollment on it.

1

I come to you

A short visit at your school — no slide deck. You show me how you run tuition, scheduling, and makeups today, and I show you the same things running in Lesson Complete.

2

We move your school over

A CSV export, your Stripe connection, a spreadsheet, even a pasted list — the importer reads them all and I handle the cleanup. Your school arrives set up, not empty.

3

You review it side by side

You keep running on your current system while you check the new one against it. Nothing goes live until you look at it and say go.

4

We cut over together, on your date

We flip the switch on a date you pick, invite your teachers and families, and I’m on-site for the week. If the timing slips, we wait.

Coming off a system you already use? See how the switch works — including the comparisons for the tools most Houston schools are running today.

Pricing

$0.49 per active student. $195 a month, capped.

One price, every feature, unlimited teacher and staff seats — the iPhone, iPad and Android apps and the AI assistant included. No tiers, no add-ons, no markup on card processing.

$0.49 per active student, per month

Thirty-one active students is 31 × $0.49 — never a tier above. Paused, graduated, and archived students don’t count, so the bill tracks the school you actually have this month.

$195 a month, capped, per location

However big your school gets, one location never bills more than $195 in a month. Large Houston academies hit the cap and stop.

A student in two programs counts once

Piano and voice, private plus a group class — that’s one active student, billed once. We don’t charge per enrollment.

$19.60 a month minimum for schools

Schools start with a 30-day free trial, then a $19.60 monthly minimum. Private teachers working solo pay nothing for their first 4 students — not a trial, no card on file. From the 5th it’s $0.49 per active student, all of them.

Houston questions, answered

Is there music school management software based in Houston?

Yes — Lesson Complete is built in Houston by its founder, Donny Dye. It’s a full music school management platform (scheduling, tuition and billing, parent and teacher apps, an AI assistant, a built-in sheet music library) that happens to be built by someone who can drive to your school. The national platforms in this category support Houston schools the same way they support everyone else: remotely.

Will someone actually come to my music school in Houston?

Yes. For schools in the Houston metro I do the demo in person at your school, sit with you for setup and migration, and I’m on-site during your cutover week. That’s the founder, not a reseller or a contracted implementation partner.

How much does music school management software cost?

Lesson Complete is $0.49 per active student per month, capped at $195 per month per location. A student enrolled in more than one program counts once. Schools get a 30-day free trial and then a $19.60 monthly minimum; a private teacher’s first 4 students are free with no card on file, and from the 5th it’s $0.49 per active student, all of them. Every feature, unlimited teacher and staff seats, the iPhone, iPad and Android apps, and the AI assistant are all included — no tiers, no add-ons, and no markup on card processing.

Can you move my school off the system I use now before fall?

That’s the normal path. Send a CSV export, a Stripe connection, or even a spreadsheet, and your teachers, families, schedules, and billing plans get moved over and set up to match how you charge today. White-glove migration is free through 2026, and it works from any system — or from no system at all.

Do I have to sign a contract or pay a setup fee?

No. Month-to-month, cancel any time, no setup fee, and migration help is free. Your tuition runs through your school’s own Stripe account at Stripe’s standard rates — we don’t take a cut of what families pay you.

Do you only work with schools in Houston?

No — Lesson Complete works anywhere, and schools outside Houston get the same product and the same free migration help. The in-person part — the visit, the on-site cutover week, the drop-by support — is what Houston-area schools get on top of that, because that’s where the founder lives.

Let me come show you, at your school.

Email me and tell me about your school — how many teachers, what you use now, what drives you crazy about it. I’ll come by for twenty minutes and show you the same things running here. No pressure, no card, nothing moves until you approve.
